JOB TITLE: TRAVEL AND TOURS MANAGERIAL STAFF WITH FRENCH

NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

INDUSTRY: TRAVEL AND TOURS COMPANY

SALARY: KSHS 40,000.00

JOB LOCATION: NAIROBI

SUMMARY

Our client a tours and travel company, is looking to hire an office manager who is conversant with French language and has good experience in a Travel and Tours company; to be in charge of all the office work and coordinating activities with the clients.                                                                                                                         

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Office admin work
  • Communicate to clients about their travel schedule
  • Marketing the company
  • Organising staff recruitment, training and administration
  • Arranging work rotas for staff and allocating tasks
  • Managing budgets, meeting sales targets and maximising profits
  • Liaising with head office and tour operators for marketing purposes
  • Handling mail, email, phone enquiries and any customers’ complaints
  • Updating holiday information and drawing any important new information to the attention of the staff
  • Selling package holidays and individual travel elements, including flights, hotels and car hire
  • Writing and sending daily reports
  • Holding meetings to motivate the team to meet their targets.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Any degree or Diploma
  • Qualifications in Tours and travel will be an added advantage
  • Be proficient with office Microsoft applications
  • 2-4 years experience in a tours company
  • Proficiency with a foreign language- French a must
  • Passion for travel
  • Leadership skills to inspire, motivate, train and develop staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confidence and the ability to make decisions
  • Good Marketing skills
  • Ability to organise and co-ordinate the work in the office
  • Excellent customer service skills
