Driver Job Description/Responsibilities

Undoubtedly, drivers work as a taxi driver, bus driver and delivery driver where their responsibility is not just to drive well. There a lot of core skills would be considered before hiring. Especially a valid Kenyan driving license, prior driving records and the number of penalties that will prove your driving skills whether you are good or bad. Being a driver, you must be physically active and mentally relaxed because you are allowed to drive long hours that can sometimes be exhausting. Apart from this, time management skills will help you to let your work be completed in less time. A truck driver will have to load and unload stuff, a delivery boy will have to deliver the food on time and a taxi driver must know the fastest route so he can drop off his/her passenger in a given time frame.

  • Prior experience as a driver would be required as per the availability of jobs.
  • Have a good knowledge of the routes and shortcuts of Across Kenya.
  • Having the ability to read, write & speak basic English.
